I tried it a second time removing the author and page numbers and it did not alter the results.
-What are the implications of having many different sources for citation metadata/OpenURLs? -
SFX has proven to be a great tool for libraries. To be able to link from citation databases directly to the full text of the article is great for students, faculty, and librarians. It is a great step forward for libraries. The problems I find that the information is not always correct and that needs to be worked on.

Thing # 9: Wikis, Wikis, Wikis
In the library we have implemented a wiki for SFX/Verde. Team members are allowed to update the wiki as needed. It is a great source of information on SFX/Verde and for me a frequently used resource. I have also updated the wiki as needed. Speaking from my experience with the SFX/Verde wiki it has proved to be a useful tool and a great way of disseminating information. I have found the impact of wikis to be a positive one. It is great to have the information online rather than having to dig through a manual for needed information.

Thing #7 - Social Bookmarking - Delicious
Social bookmarking can be a useful tool for the library. It is a great way of sharing bookmarks. However I can see this as becoming more confusing as you add more tags to bookmarks. It can be useful but maybe a standardization of tags would be helpful.

Thing #6

I have been using Firefox for some time now. Add-ons are seamlessly incorporated into the brower. I have the Google toolbar installed and also have other add-ons, for exmaple Kwout. You can use Kwout to capture a screenshot, highlight areas of interest in the screenshot, and post or save them.

Thing #4 (out of order) - Flicker
Sorry for this being out of order... Flicker is a great tool for saving photos and more... The Library of Congress Flicker site is a great example of how the site can be used. It is a great way of conveying library information.

Thing # 5 -Jing
JIng can be used to share videos for instruction or information. I found this exercise to be a little frustrating. Blogger doesn't allow you to upload this file - which Jing allows you to save a file to you hard drive, maybe the file format is not supported?

Thing # 3 - RSS Feeds

RSS feeds would definitely be helpful to the library. It would be great for reporting news to patrons. Patrons could subscribe to library feeds to find out what is going on in the library. On the other hand they could be extemely addicting so that you spend all your time looking for new entries or adding new feeds to your reader.... hmm...

Musings on Library 2.0 and other things
I love the library 2.0 even more than 1.0 and can't wait until 3.0. I am deeply ensconced in 2.0 - Facebook, Kintera, Myspace, blogging, etc. What a wonderful world.
