Thing #4 (out of order) - Flicker

Sorry for this being out of order... Flicker is a great tool for saving photos and more... The Library of Congress Flicker site is a great example of how the site can be used. It is a great way of conveying library information.

Thing # 5 -Jing

Jing Video

JIng can be used to share videos for instruction or information. I found this exercise to be a little frustrating. Blogger doesn't allow you to upload this file - which Jing allows you to save a file to you hard drive, maybe the file format is not supported?

Thing # 3 - RSS Feeds

RSS feeds would definitely be helpful to the library. It would be great for reporting news to patrons. Patrons could subscribe to library feeds to find out what is going on in the library. On the other hand they could be extemely addicting so that you spend all your time looking for new entries or adding new feeds to your reader.... hmm...

Musings on Library 2.0 and other things

I love the library 2.0 even more than 1.0 and can't wait until 3.0. I am deeply ensconced in 2.0 - Facebook, Kintera, Myspace, blogging, etc. What a wonderful world.

One more thought - Histiocytosis sucks. You can help in the fight against this horrible disease. Read my histiocytosis information at Histiocytosis Fundraising Page
